When most people think of the west coast, they think of the bustle of LA, the glamour of Hollywood, and the bright colors of San Francisco. But even in the more popular areas, there is so much more to experience than just the expensive retreats and parks. California is a massive state with lots to offer, and sometimes it can be overwhelming, but a visit to Orange County is exciting at any time of the year.
There are many reasons you should focus on Orange County California for your next vacation plan. Whether you’re looking for excitement or relaxation, there are lots of things that you can do in Orange County California that will make your year stellar. The chances are really good that you can find something that interests you no matter your personality. Here are just a few of the things that you can get involved in for 2020.
If you are a fan of the arts, you will be in for a treat. Orange County has at least 10 art museums that are worth visiting this coming year. This includes the Fullerton Museum Center, the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, and the Laguna Art Museum. And, of course, you can’t miss out on the Orange County Museum of Art, which has a stunning combination of modern and contemporary art. There are also lots of art walks that will be starting in the new year. This means that you can see the local exhibits or even experience some of the more classic pieces in terms of what the art world has to offer. One of the best is the Downtown Anaheim Art Crawl Experience, which is held four times a year. It’s a great place to go if you are interested in seeing both permanent art fixtures, live art, food, and hand-made goods.

If amusement parks are your thing, then you’re in luck. Orange County has a lot to offer in this department. Amusement rides, water parks, and even whale watching are just some of the things that you can plan on seeing when you visit Orange County. There’s more available to keep you and the family entertained than just visiting Disneyland. Knott’s Berry Farm is a classic place to take the kids, and Adventure City is one of the best water parks to relax and unwind in. There are a lot more amusement and water parks than the big theme parks most people are aware of, so explore and find some new favorites.
Ethnic Food Options
Orange County is very ethnically diverse. What this means for you is that you can enjoy any type of food that you desire. For example, Asian food is one of the more well-known types of foods that this area has to offer. Expect excellent sushi and fresh fish. There are lots of other types of ethnic foods that you can choose from when you decide to take a trip in the coming year, including Mexican, Indian, and Italian fare. Don’t worry—there are plenty of classic American and fusion options as well.

The beaches in Orange County are another thing that you’ll want to see in 2020. This is because the weather is nice all year long, so you don’t have to wait for summer in order to partake. Another good thing about the beaches is that they’re considered some of the cleanest. There are literally miles of beaches so that you’re sure to find the perfect spot to hang out no matter the weather where you live. Some of the best beaches in orange county include the Corona del Mar State beach, Laguna’s Main Beach, and the Saint Clementine Pier Beach. The latter is an especially great place for surfing and enjoying the sunset.
Going clubbing and experiencing the local nightlife might appeal more to you. The big nightlife event will be coming up soon with the New Year’s Eve parties that are going to be done at several of the local clubs, but even into the new year there will be hip hop, food festivals, and other night events. Winterfest is another event that you can visit into the coming year or plan for next year. Wander through a holiday wonderland and enjoy the sights. There are always events that you can enjoy when you plan a trip to Orange County.
