B&B Holiday Events and Packages Worth Celebrating

The holiday season is a magical time of year that brings joy to families everywhere, but with that joy comes some form of stress. The six-course Dickens Dinner, held every Sunday and Wednesday in December, features the traditional dining choices of Victorian England and Scotland, including diverse menu items that change weekly. This year marks the 15th event celebration and will incorporate performed readings of the holiday classic “A Christmas Carol”. Start off the evening with a social hour, beginning at 6PM in the Loch Ness Pub onsite, with dinner to follow at 7PM. When guests reserve a seat, they can take advantage of 50% off the regular rate of lodging which starts at $189.

Bask in the warm glow of the inn’s holiday lights during the world-renowned Nights of Lights celebration, held this year from Nov. 19th to Jan. 31st. Guests that stay at the inn for two weeknights (Sunday-Thursday) will receive an exclusive tour of the display on the Old Town Trolley, a complimentary peppermint bark sampler, and a coupon for a delicious hot cocoa or mocha at Claude’s Chocolate. This holiday season, the Green Mountain Inn is offering a special package when you book a minimum of two-nights lodging during Christmas week only (December 23rd, 24th, or 25th). Guests spending the holidays at the inn will receive a welcome bottle of wine served with a platter of assorted cheeses, fruits and nuts, and choice of a Green Mountain Inn commemorative gift upon arrival, a full daily breakfast, and complimentary afternoon tea and cookies.
