Top 10 Places To Have Lunch In Paris On A Budget
Paris holds a very special place in my heart; the scenery, people and of course the food. Now we all know that a trip to Paris can be expensive. The cost of food on top of the cost of tickets to Paris can add up very quickly. But your travels wouldn’t be complete without trying its world-renowned French cuisine. If your budget can’t afford those Michelin Star restaurants for every meal, save the big cheques for dinnertime and do lunch someplace cheaper. You don’t have to sacrifice taste, either. Here are the top 10 places to have lunch in Paris on a budget:

There’s a lot of tradition behind the front doors of this bistro: opened in 1845, it was once the hangout of greats like Ernest Hemingway and André Gide. Still, its standard fare is reasonably priced, offering a prix fixe menu of salad, beef bourguignon, and sorbet for 24€.

Another vivacious eatery to make the list, The Georgette’s initial draw is its décor a throwback to the 1960s. On the menu, you’ll find everything from curried Jerusalem artichoke to veal with sautéed potatoes. Expect to pay an average of 15-18€ for lunch.
If you’re looking for a good sandwich to fill you up at lunch, you can’t go wrong with a stop at Cosi delicatessen. The aroma of freshly baked focaccia bread invades the shop all day, and the portions are filling. Sandwiches run about 10€ each.
