Three Cheers for the Boston Tea Party Martini
Last week acclaimed steakhouse Smith & Wollensky celebrated the opening of their second restaurant in Boston. Now discerning diners can choose to feast at the ‘Castle’ in Back Bay or wharf-side at Boston harbor. The new restaurant is located on Atlantic Wharf at 200 Congress Street, and boasts both a water-side outdoor patio and an indoor oyster bar.
To kick-off the celebration (and with a nod to their neighbors The Tea Party Ship), Smith & Wollensky created the perfect signature cocktail for their new restaurant – The Boston Tea Party Martini.
Thanks go to the Smith & Wollensky for sharing the recipe with us!
Boston Tea Party Martini
- 3 parts Absolut Wild Tea Vodka
- 2 parts fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 part simple syrup
Shake Absolute vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup over ice.
Strain into chilled martini glass and garnish with a twist of lemon.
This is definitely the kind of tea for me – no one will even consider dumping this drink in the harbor. Enjoy!
