Museum of Fine Arts BostonBank of America wants to make it easy and affordable to visit your favorite museums this year. Their Museums On Us promotion offers free admission to some of the most popular museums in the United States.  Simply present your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit or credit card  on the first full weekend of each month in 2011 for a free general admission ticket.  The next free weekend falls on February 5 & 6, with future dates following every month through December 3/4, 2011.  It’s estimated that one of every every 2 households in America has a qualifying card.

The Museums On Us program is in its 14th year and has grown to over 150 participating museums in more than 85 cities.  You’ll find museums for fine art, science, zoos, aquariums and children’s museums among the selections.  Prominent participants are the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, Art Institute of Chicago, Nascar Hall of Fame, and MUZEO in LA.  Take a look at the full list of participating museums across America, and get out and enjoy a museum.
