snow shoe trekTwo beautiful New England country inns nestled in the Lake Sunapee area of New Hampshire are offering unique winter weekend adventures.  On two weekends this winter (Jan 14-16 & Mar 4-6) you’re invited to snow shoe from Inn to Inn in the company of other guests and an experienced guide. The snow shoe trek weekend begins at the Rosewood Country Inn on Friday night with an orientation and savory 4 course dinner.  After a peaceful night’s sleep, you’ll be awakened for a hearty ‘Farm to Fork’ homemade 3 course breakfast.  After all that good food you’ll be set to get out on the trail and burn up some calories on your guided 4 mile adventure.  A trail lunch is also provided and your luggage will be transported to the next inn.  After approx 4 hours in the winter sunshine (let’s hope), guests are welcomed at the Candlelite Inn for a Saturday night stay.  You’ll be treated to another delicious 4 course dinner by the fireside and plenty of time to relax.  On Sunday morning there is yet another impressive 3 course breakfast served at the inn.

All this winter indulgence is just $299 per person (double occupancy), plus tax.  Snow shoe rentals are available at $20 pp and all level of winter sports enthusiasts are welcome to participate – from beginners to experienced trekkers.  To make your reservation and receive more information call the Rosewood Country Inn at 800-938-5273.
