They encountered very stormy weather and felt the guides were not as professional as had been promised in marketing material and in conversations with the company. Island Expeditions did respond promptly to their concerns and refunded part of their trip expense. I looked into going to Belize when i was in Nicaragua, although we ran out of time (booo). I just thought i'd share that there are some pretty good deals flying out of Miami, some really cheap flights! Can't vouch for their reputation, but Spirit Air came in very cheap so may be an option if you are flying through the US. http://www.spiritair.com/ Happy travels :-) Agreed!
