Move over iPhone, BlackBerry has its own jazzy apps!  Your BlackBerry is about to become your most prized travel companion with a whole range of new travel apps.  If you haven’t tuned into the new apps offered for your pda phone, heads-up, it’s time to check out new mobile travel features.  Here are some of our favorite travel tools for BlackBerry phones:

1)  TeleNav – get turn by turn directions on the go as you turn your phone into a GPS navigation devise.  Receive voice directions as you drive as well as visual map displays on your phone’s screen.

2)  WorldMate Live – A complete travel services tool.  Keep current with flight status, flight schedules, load your itinerary, make a hotel reservation, world clock, currency converter, up to date weather reports, and more.

3)  Google Latitudes – find all your friends in the neighborhood wherever you are.

4)  Go Skip – Load your itinerary and Skip will notify you of any delays.

5)  Trapster – The road warriors best friend.  This app notifies you when you’re nearing a spot well known for speed traps, red light cameras, or speed cameras.

6)  Transclick – An instant language translator.  Just type in a workd, sentance or phrase, language of choice, and up pops the translation.

With all these great services, you’ll never leave your BlackBerry behind!
